Overview
Agapita (Pita) Judy Lopez (b. 1954) is one of a third generation of family members in Abiquiu to have worked for O'Keeffe. She began working for O'Keeffe in 1975, first as a weekend companion and later as secretary. Upon the creation of The Georgia O'Keeffe Foundation in 1989, Ms. Lopez was named secretary-treasurer of the organization. In 2000, she became foundation director.
