Biography
Alfred Steiglitz photographed his niece Georgia Engelhard after World War I as an experiment to replace platinum with palladium , creating palladiotypes. Georgia became an artist and photographer in her own right. She also became a mountain climber of both the North American Rockies and the European Alps.
