Overview The collection consists of interviews with Georgia O'Keeffe's surviving relatives, colleagues, friends, and employees as well as supporting project documentation. The bulk of the materials date from 2000 to 2003 and include audiocassette recordings, typed transcripts, photographs, and research and project records.

Overview Henry McKinley (1929-1914) spent his youth at Ghost Ranch where his parents worked for Arthur Pack. McKinley spent his career working as an agricultural extension agent in range management and tending to his own cattle at his various ranches. He remembers first meeting his wife, Margaret (Peg) Pack McKinley (b. 1927), when they were children together on Ghost Ranch. Overview Margaret (Peg) Pack McKinley (b. 1927) is the daughter of Eleanor (Brownie) Hibben (1898–1992) and Arthur Newton Pack (1893–1975). In 1933 Pack established a guest ranch and nature preserve known as Ghost Ranch. O'Keeffe stayed in the Pack's house during her trips to New Mexico in the early 1930s and eventually purchased the house and six acres from Pack in 1940. Pack and his family were life-long friends of O'Keeffe. McKinley was interviewed by Sarah Burt.
