Overview The collection consists of interviews with Georgia O'Keeffe's surviving relatives, colleagues, friends, and employees as well as supporting project documentation. The bulk of the materials date from 2000 to 2003 and include audiocassette recordings, typed transcripts, photographs, and research and project records.

Overview Marjorie Ferguson Lambert (1908-2006), wife of well-known cowboy Jack Lambert, was the curator of archaeology at the Museum of New Mexico, the curator at the Palace of the Governors, and a research associate at the School of American Research. She knew O'Keeffe through the artist's interest in rocks and Indian artifacts and through their mutual associations with Maria Chabot and Mary Cabot Wheelright. Lambert was interviewed by Sarah Burt.
