Scope and Content Note

From the Collection:

The collection relates to Jane Ann Cramer's (1958-2011) research on Georgia O'Keeffe's gift and installation of the Alfred Stieglitz Collection at Fisk University in 1949. Cramer worked as an intern at Fisk, reinstalling the collection and conducting research and interviews with individuals present during O'Keeffe's original installation. Additional research and correspondence support her contribution to Nancy Hopkins Reily's two volume biography on O'Keeffe, "Georgia O'Keeffe: A Private Friendship", published by Sunstone Press in 2007.

Included are interviews, photographs, slides, negatives, photocopies, notebooks, research notes, writings, brochures, and other miscellaneous papers and research materials.
