The collection consists of original documents relating to Georgia O'Keeffe's Abiquiu, New Mexico property dating from 1825 to 1897. The majority of the documents are handwritten in Spanish.

Overview
Four page handwritten land record on one piece of paper, front and back. Handwritten at the top of the first page is number four and 35 varas. The main document dates from May 30, 1825, mentions Miguel Garcia and Pedro Truxillo, and is followed by signatures, one of which is Juan Cristoval Quintana. A separate section dates from June 20, 1844, mentions Pedro Sandoval and Jose Antonio Manzanares, and is followed by signatures. On the back is a County of Rio Arriba Probate Court seal next to a handwritten statement by Fernando Salazar dating from August 2, 1881. A separate note on back mentions Pedro Sandoval, Jose Antonio Manzanares, and pueblo number four. Another note on the back has a circled number three and reads: Cadillal.
