From the Collection:

The collection consists of original documents relating to Georgia O'Keeffe's Abiquiu, New Mexico property dating from 1825 to 1897. The majority of the documents are handwritten in Spanish.

Overview

Two page handwritten land record on one piece of paper, front and back. Main document is dated May 17, 1829, mentions Fernando Trujillo and Feliciana Valdes, and is followed by four signatures, one of which is Miguel Quintana. A separate handwritten section on the back dates from 1835 and mentions Feliciana Valdes and C. Juan Martinez and is followed by three signatures. Another note from March 9, 1852 mentions Jose Antonio Manzanares. Also on back is written: Cadillal.
