The collection consists of original documents relating to Georgia O'Keeffe's Abiquiu, New Mexico property dating from 1825 to 1897. The majority of the documents are handwritten in Spanish.

Overview
Four page handwritten land record on one piece of paper, front and back. Handwritten at the top of the first page is number eight and 35 varas. Main document dates from April 13, 1849, mentions Rafael Trujillo and Jose Anto Manzanares, and is followed by signatures, one of which is Jose Maria Chavez. On the third page is a County of Rio Arriba Probate Court seal next to a handwritten statement by Fernando Salazar dating from August 3, 1881. Separate notes on back mention Rafael Trujillo, Jose Anto Manzanares, Pueblo number eight, and Bajo del Pueblo.
