The collection consists of original documents relating to Georgia O'Keeffe's Abiquiu, New Mexico property dating from 1825 to 1897. The majority of the documents are handwritten in Spanish.

Overview

Two page handwritten land record on one piece of paper, front and back. Main document dates from January 8, 1850, mentions Mateo Garcia and Esteban Trujillo, and is followed by signatures. Separate notes on back mention Jose Antonio Manzanares, Maria de la Luz Jaramillo, and Jose de la Luz Gallegos, Bajo del Pueblo, 11 varas, number eighteen, January 8 1850.
