The collection consists of original documents relating to Georgia O'Keeffe's Abiquiu, New Mexico property dating from 1825 to 1897. The majority of the documents are handwritten in Spanish.

Overview

Four page handwritten land record on two pieces of paper, front and back. Handwritten at the top of the first page is number nine and 35 varas. Main document dates from September 1, 1850, mentions Guadelupe Garcia and Jose Anto Manzanares, and is followed by signatures. On the third page is a County of Rio Arriba Probate Court seal next to a handwritten statement by Fernando Salazar dating from August 3, 1881. Separate notes on back mention pueblo number nine, Bajo del Pueblo, 35 varas, D.J. Anto Manzanares and Guadalupe Garcia.
