The collection consists of original documents relating to Georgia O'Keeffe's Abiquiu, New Mexico property dating from 1825 to 1897. The majority of the documents are handwritten in Spanish.

Overview
Three page handwritten land record on two pieces of paper, front and back. Handwritten at the top of the first page are initials J.P.M. [Juan Pascual Martin] and a date Nov 23 [illegible]. Top right corner reads: No. Diez y siete 35 varas 11 23 67. Main document dates from November 23, 1867, mentions Juan Pascual Martin and Maria Ysidora Garcia, and is followed by signatures. On the third page is a County of Rio Arriba Probate Court seal next to a handwritten statement by Fernando Salazar dating from August 4, 1881. Separate notes on back mention Juan Pascual Martin, pueblo 17, Cieneguita, and 40 varas. There are two twenty-five cent Internal Revenue certificate stamps on this document.
