The collection consists of original documents relating to Georgia O'Keeffe's Abiquiu, New Mexico property dating from 1825 to 1897. The majority of the documents are handwritten in Spanish.

Overview
Three page handwritten land record on one piece of paper, front and back. Handwritten at the top of the first page is one hundred dollars. Main document dates from March 14, 1871, mentions Eliseo Salazar, Maria del [illegible] Bomen, and is followed by signatures. On the back is a County of Rio Arriba Probate Court seal next to a handwritten statement by Fernando Salazar dating from August 20, 1881. Separate notes on back mention Enrriquez Bomen, Eliseo Salazar, and number four. There is one twenty-five cent Internal Revenue certificate stamp on this document.
