Overview
Three page handwritten land record on two pieces of paper, front and back. Handwritten on Rob't D. Patterson and Co. St. Louis letterhead. Main document dates from January 27, 1881, mentions Jose Maria Chavez, Jose Maria C. Chavez, and Francisca C. Chavez, and is followed by signatures. On the third page is a County of Rio Arriba Probate Court seal next to a handwritten statement by Fernando Salazar dating from April 13, 1881. Separate note on back reads: Documento de Traspaso de Tierra Don Jose M Chavez A J.M.C. Chavez and bro. Also on back 1881 and Roman numeral 8.
