The Museum publications collection is comprised of published material generated by the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum from 1997 to 2015. Types of materials found in this collection include: invitations, announcements, brochures, gallery guides, calendars, programs, posters, periodicals and exhibition ephemera. Published monographs and exhibition catalogs can be found in the library collections.

The collection documents the museum's public and in-house activities, including exhibitions, fundraising, education, special projects, anniversaries, and social events. The range of materials show the breadth of the museum's programming and the changes in scope of programs and design of the publications made by the Museum over time. The collection is topically divided into the types of publications, events or activities they represent, or based on the organizing group. Records are arranged into three record groups: Exhibition Publications, Periodicals, and Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Activities. The bulk of the collection is composed of exhibition related materials.

RG.3.1: Exhibition Publications contains announcements, invitations, gallery guides, and brochures produced by the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and partners regarding exhibitions organized at the museum. Arranged chronologically.

RG.3.2: Periodicals contains publications regularly generated by the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum to inform and educate its members, staff and the general public. Includes calendars, bulletins, newsletters, magazines, and annual reports. Arranged by publication title, then chronologically.

RG.3.3: Museum Activities contains announcements and programs for various Georgia O'Keeffe Museum activities related to educational programs and administration. Educational programs include individual lectures and lecture series announcements, performance programs and announcements, and various events not specifically related to exhibitions in the museum. Arranged alphabetically by activity or publication type, then chronologically.
