The materials in this collection relate to the sale of the Georgia O'Keeffe painting "Spring", 1948 (Catalogue Raisonne number 1163). Included are three letters from Georgia O'Keeffe to John Carrington Woolley as well as various sales and shipping records. Also included is a photograph of O'Keeffe and Dorothy Brett at Brett's birthday party in 1962.

The collection is arranged into three series: Correspondence, Sales and shipping records, and Photographic material. Materials are arranged chronologically within.
Materials were donated to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in 1997 by Forrest Fenn and transferred to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum archives from the curatorial department in 2016.
