Photograph of La Almendra (Germinal Seed) by Mym Tuma. Mym Tuma, also known as Marilynn Thuma, corresponded with Georgia O'Keeffe from 1964 to 1973. This photograph, and fourteen others, were probably enclosed in a letter from Marilynn Thuma dated September 4, 1970. The letter includes the envelope. A press release from 2004 on the correspondence between Mym Tuma and O'Keeffe is housed with these materials to provide additional context.
