Overview
Brian Francis Wynne Garfield (b. 1939) is an American novelist and screenwriter. Garfield's mother Francis O'Brien became friends with Georgia O'Keeffe in New York, and she and her son moved to Tucson in 1950. They visited O'Keeffe in Abiquiu several times. Garfield knew O'Keeffe best from 1949 to 1956 and then intermittently until 1971. Garfield is interviewed by Jane Cook at his home in Santa Fe.
