Overview

Maria Chabot (1913-2001) was a friend of Georgia O'Keeffe who lived with O'Keeffe at her Ghost Ranch house (1941-1944) and oversaw the renovation of the ruined adobe hacienda that O'Keeffe purchased in the village of Abiquiu (1946-1949). Maria Chabot speaks with Barbara Buhler Lynes about the Ghost Ranch house and property, and about works on paper at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.

Overview

The collection consists of interviews with Georgia O'Keeffe's surviving relatives, colleagues, friends, and employees as well as supporting project documentation. The bulk of the materials date from 2000 to 2003 and include audiocassette recordings, typed transcripts, photographs, and research and project records.

Catherine Krueger (b. 1923) is Georgia O'Keeffe's niece. Daughter to Catherine Blanche O'Keeffe Klenert and Raymond Klenert, and mother to Raymond Krueger. Krueger was interviewed by Barbara Buhler Lynes.
