Overview

Floyd E. Trujillo (1934-2019) was the longtime assistant ranch land supervisor for the Ghost Ranch Presbyterian Conference Center north of Abiquiu. O'Keeffe hired Trujillo to do odd jobs including stretching canvases and chauffeuring. Trujillo was interviewed by Sarah Burt.

Overview

June Wayne (1918-2011) was a painter, lithographer, and designer. She was founder and director of the Tamarind Lithography Workshop in Los Angeles and later organized the Tamarind Institute at the University of New Mexico. Wayne met O'Keeffe in 1963 when she invited O'Keeffe to become a Tamarind fellow. The two remained friends over the course of O'Keeffe's later years. Wayne was interviewed by Sarah Burt.

Overview

Lucille Webb (1906-2008) was a dancer and wife of photographer Todd Webb (1905-2000). Todd Webb met O'Keeffe in 1946 and was later encouraged to move to New Mexico by O'Keeffe. He photographed O'Keeffe on numerous occasions. Webb was interviewed by Sarah Burt.

Margaret Wood (b. 1953) was a companion of O'Keeffe from 1977 to 1982. She is the author of A Painter's Kitchen: Recipes from the Kitchen of Georgia O'Keeffe. Wood was interviewed by Sarah Burt.

Ziegler, Samuel R. and Isabel H., 2000-03-14

Overview

Isabel Ziegler (b. 1918) and Samuel Ziegler, M.D. (1914-2000) moved to New Mexico in the late 1940s to start the first community hospital in Espanola. They became friends with O'Keeffe, and Dr. Ziegler served as her personal physician from 1949 to the time of her death in 1986. The Zieglers privately published a book about their lives called For the Soul is Dead (1999) that includes a chapter on O'Keeffe. The Zieglers were interviewed by Sarah Burt.
