Biography

A young voice student, Marie Rapp worked as Stieglitz's secretary at 291 from 1911 to 1917, when the gallery closed. She married George Boursault, son of a member of the Photo-Secession, and they, with their young daughter Yvonne, visited Stieglitz and O'Keeffe at Lake George in the early 1920s (see Key Set number 861).
