From Brian Garfield in 2002: A story goes with this one. The object is a trash incinerator, vintage uncertain, in the back yard of Frances O'Brien's friend Regina Master, in Cheyney, PA. O'Brien showed the picture to O'Keeffe and they had a great time cooking up all the details of a fantastic plan whereby they proposed to mount this thing on a base, truck it to New York, and foist it off on The Modern with documentation they would forge, showing it to be the work of sculptor Anton Kubek. Needless to say the scheme never got past the planning stage but it was good for several years worth of laughs.

Processing Information

Only low resolution digital file exists. Original digital files were bitmaps delivered to GOKM and converted to tiff format and derivatives for access.
