Letter, Jan. 17, 1969, by Chabot in Uxmal, Mexico gives a long description of her travels in the Yucatan with Paul and Gail Schmidt. Letter, Dec. 27, 1970, by Chabot in Albuquerque to Yost in State College, Pennsylvania, deals with various matters including Chabot's visit with the dying Winter Priest at San Juan Pueblo. Ten letters, two post cards and a brochure, Sept. 6 or 7, 1972 – July 10, 1973, concern Chabot's travels in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Three letters, July 13, 1975 – Nov. 6, 1976, written by Chabot from Oaxaca, La Chiripa & Puerto Escondido to Yost in Albuquerque concern her time there. Five letters, Jan. 26, 1977 – Feb. 14, 1977, written by Chabot in Puerto Escondido to Yost in Albuquerque and concern Chabot's first knowledge of and reaction to Yost's breast cancer. Six letters, Feb. 25, 1977 - March 22, 1977, written by Chabot in La Chiripa and Oaxaca to Yost in Albuquerque. Fourteen letters, Jan. 13 – June 15, 1978 written by Chabot from the Oaxaca area and addressed to Yost under her assumed name, Barbara Palmer, and one letter, August 21, 1978 written from Albuquerque after Chabot's return from Mexico.
