Content Description

The collection includes photographs of Georgia O'Keeffe dating from circa1960-1970. One image, a portrait of O'Keeffe, is attributed to Alexander Girard and appears in various formats: two black and white photographs, one color photograph and two color slides. Another color photograph, also attributed to Girard, appears to be taken on the same day and includes an unidentified woman alongside O'Keeffe. These photographs are dated circa 1960-1970. Attribution is based upon published Girard photographs from the Girard archives and notes from the donor.

One black and white photograph profile portrait of O'Keeffe is taken by Stanley Marcus in 1964 at the John Deer World Headquarters grand opening, where Girard created a mural.

Additionally, there is one black and white profile portrait of O'Keeffe that is undated and the photographer has not been identified.
